5k and Barbecue
On July 14, 2012, there was a 5k run at Lakeridge Junior High in Orem. There were a lot of people who came together to pull this great event together. The effort was lead by Cory Lovelace and Crystel Stout. There were over 100 people who came to run the race in the effort to "Be Tere's Legs." The race started at the school and went around in the surrounding neighborhoods and ended at the school. Congratulations to all the participants.
A raffle took place after the race. There were many prizes handed out. Thank you to all the companies who donated their products to the event to give to our winners.
Following the raffle, participants were able to eat lunch at the barbecue held at the school. The whole day was very successful and was only possible with the efforts of so many of Tere's friends and family.
All proceeds from the 5k and barbecue were put in The Tere Parra Trust at Chase Bank.
